All shipments are subject to availability.

Standard orders placed Monday through Friday (excluding public holidays) will be processed and shipped within four business days.

Parcels are shipped via Fastways Courier service within Australia and generally take between 3 to 7 days from date of order, depending on the destination. You will be issued with a tracking number via email at the time of shipment in order to determine its location.

Standard flat rate nationally for orders up to 500gm is $10.00 – eg. pillowcases; some textiles; cushion covers; children’s wear; scarves etc.

Standard flat rate nationally for orders from 500gm to 1kg is $12.00 – eg. homewares; sheets; fabric bags; some textiles & women’s clothing etc.

Standard flat rate for orders from 1kg to 3kg is $14.00 – eg. children’s quilts; blankets; homewares etc

Standard flat rate for orders from 3kg – 5kg is $15.00 – adult quilts

Express delivery can be organised at additional cost. BORN does not ship internationally at this time.

Please provide shipping information to a street address rather than a PO Box as our courier service does not deliver to PO Boxes.

BORN will redeliver, replace or refund a parcel that is incorrectly addressed by us, but do not take responsibility for delivery addresses that are incorrectly provided or insufficient.

All shipping is at the customers risk. Once items have been dispatched and
tracking numbers provided, we do not hold responsibility for lost parcels, or
packages damaged in transit.

BULKY ITEMS

The above rates apply to all orders under 5kg.

Large items & valuable items are shipped on negotiation – the buyer can organise their own method of delivery or BORN can quote according to the size & weight. Contact details below.

Upon receiving your order a BORN representative will contact you to inform any additional costs. Your order will not be processed until BORN has confirmed a price.

PROCESSING, PRIVACY & PAYMENTS

All BORN prices are in Australian dollars and include a 10% GST (sales tax) applicable to all goods sold to Australian residents. Details of all credit card orders are securely stored with E Way commerce.

RETURNS POLICY

BORN’s return policy lasts 7 days. There are no refunds or exchanges after this period.

BORN only accepts returns or offers refunds if the goods are defective or incorrect.

BORN usually does not cover postage costs for returns, the exception being for faulty goods (exclude damage incurred during transit).

To be eligible for a return, goods must be unused and in the same condition as received and in original packaging with the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your goods are deemed faulty return product by mail to: 182 Avoca Drive Kincumber NSW Australia 2251.BORN will pay the postage costs to resend the replacement.

BORN photographs all goods before they are dispatched to ensure quality control.

Once your return is received and inspected, BORN will email confirmation approving or rejecting refund depending on condition of return.

If approved, refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Any refund amount will be less the original shipping charge.

INSURANCE

BORN is not liable for the loss of returned items, which remain the property of the customer until received at head office in Kincumber.

BORN recommend you use registered post or a trackable courier when
returning an item, as they cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit.

EXCHANGE
Exchange items will be processed as a return and a new sale and will
include shipping fees.

FYI
Please note: many of BORN’s textiles are handmade and occasionally may have minor inconsistencies in colour or weave. This is also the case with vintage goods which will be noted in the description.

Such inconsistencies will not be deemed ‘faults’ but as part of the charm of recycled goods. This will not be deemed a reason for a refund.
